CBx breakfast sessions are  short, sharp discussions of cross-sector issues with recognised practitioners in the field. Speakers will come from aross the built lifecycle sector to provide industry, academia and government  perspectives on each subject, helping to raise challenges and enable an open discussion around the solutions.

This session explores how regulations are pushing the installation of meters into buildings to provide accurate data that can enable a better understanding of building energy consumption. However, this is predicated on having the right strategy in place to ensure that what is measured is meaningful, the means to utilise the data within the site and the engagement of those in the building – whether tenants, managing agents or employees. Speakers will discuss the approach and benefits of anunderpinning strategy necessary to make meters useful, followed by a case study approach and the role that data visualisation and communication can play.

CBx events provide cross-collaborative discussions, enabling members to gain inside knowledge and a unique understanding of how different sectors perceive barriers and solutions to specific energy performance issues. Each event includes breakfast, and time to network with peers, thought leaders and prospective clients.
