CBx breakfast sessions are  short, sharp discussions of cross-sector issues with recognised practitioners in the field. Speakers will come from aross the built lifecycle sector to provide industry, academia and government  perspectives on each subject, helping to raise challenges and enable an open discussion around the solutions.

This session explores how the promotion of building information modelling (BIM) has the potential to dramatically improve the way data is captured during the design phase and handed onto the end user. A number of projects are underway, with Government mandating Level 2 BIM be utilised from 2016. Speakers will discuss the role of BIM in data management and the feedback between design and operations.

CBx events provide cross-collaborative discussions, enabling members to gain inside knowledge and a unique understanding of how different sectors perceive barriers and solutions to specific energy performance issues. Each event includes breakfast, and time to network with peers, thought leaders and prospective clients.
